To mark World COPD Day 2025 (19th of November 2025), the Belgian Lung Foundation organised an event for the public, patients, and their families.
As part of this event, the Belgian Lung Foundadtion is also offering an educational parcours, « Protect Your Lungs! », designed to raise awareness among visitors about lung health and how to better protect our lungs.
Why?
Because in Belgium, 1.3 million people live with a respiratory disease.
Which leads to a loss of 500,000 years of healthy life.
And an estimated cost of treating respiratory diseases of €22.8 billion per year.
It is therefore essential to take care of our lungs !
Parcours
While visiting the different halls of the Train World museum in Schaarbeek, you can search for 10 stickers featuring our mascot.
Each sticker contains a QR code inviting you to learn more about the lungs and their vital role.
This parcours is accessible to all visitors, young and old, until March 1, 2026.
