World COPD Day 2025: Jump aboard the respiratory train!

Thanks for jumping aboard the respiratory train !

In light of World COPD Day, the Belgian Lung Foundation (BeLF) and the Belgian Respiratory Society (BeRS) joined forces and organized an exceptional day dedicated to COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and other chronic respiratory diseases.

This afternoon was open to the general public, with a special focus on patients and their families, where they learned more about respiratory diseases, the essential role of the lungs, and ways to maintain good respiratory health.

Free lung function (spirometry) tests and guided tours of the Train World museum (in French and Dutch) were also offered.

Until March 1st 2026, you can visit the “Protect Your Lungs!” educational parcours at the Train World Museum, and even the youngest ones can participate in the Drawing contest – Color our “Lung Mascot”
