Make your home healthier
The Departement Zorg, in collaboration with the medical environmentalists of Gezondheidsmakers, has developed a new brochure for people with sensitive airways or a lung condition. Certain factors in the home can aggravate complaints in people with sensitive airways or a lung condition. Fortunately, there are simple measures that can be taken in the home to alleviate the complaints.
This brochure offers practical, feasible tips in simple language that patients can use themselves to make their home healthier. The tips include preventing moisture, mold and dust mites, avoiding irritants and pets in case of allergies, ensuring good ventilation, etc. The information is relevant for people with various respiratory conditions, such as asthma, COPD and allergies. Although the brochure does not replace medical treatment, it can help to reduce symptoms.
Please note: the brochure is only available in Dutch.
Patient expert
We support patient organizations by training patients to become patient experts in their own disease domain. The professionalization of the patient strengthens the functioning of patient organizations and improves the advocacy of the patient within various social domains.

Grants for patient organisations
We support patient organizations by awarding grants to support and improve their operations, and by organizing campaigns or events to raise awareness of respiratory health.
